Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 5 GORE-TEX Waterproof Trail Running Shoes deliver wet-weather protection for trail running. They are, in effect, a winterised version of the non-GORE-TEX Pegasus Trail 5.
Underfoot Feel
The ReactX midsole in the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 is designed to provide responsive cushioning.
A versatile Nike ATC (all-terrain compound) outsole should feel smooth on sections of road, and grippy on light trails. For clarity, these don't offer enough grip for technical trails.
Reflective details help you to be seen in low light conditions by other road, pavement and trail users.
Upper Fit
The shoes have a GORE-TEX upper and a 3-D print toe cap to help to keep water out. The ankle cuff helps to keep debris and trail rubble from entering your shoes.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 5 GORE-TEX Waterproof Trail Running Shoes offer great performance for door-to-trail runs. We recommend opting for these if you run in wet weather on a range of surfaces, such as forest trails, coastal paths, and grassy parks.
Even though the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 GORE-TEX Waterproof Trail Running Shoes offer lots of cushioning, we don't suggest using them for road-only runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
